Dear Mr Truth
How are you Sir! Snooker as TV entertainment is dead and on the verge of being a minority sport. Only the snooker addicts like us can sometimes hear breathing.
The Pro’ game got what it deserved by lying back during the tobacco period that continually failed to break even (Financially) for twenty odd years.

The game is going backwards mister Truth with the silly Q School idea of registering more and more snooker players and dull coaches.
Truthfully Mr Truth if the Q school created four out of five students as centuries break players it would send the game back still further.

How the game is played is the problem not the skill and efficiency of the players which couldn't be higher but played with a sameness and dullness like watching last year’s TV snooker.
You are correct that the game is “Elitist” and in time will be played with poise and “Finesse” and played by women with a timing and tempo similar to ball room dancing.

It is a sad fact that snooker players are happy by accomplishment but shun learning the basics that creates the “Accomplishment”.
